Charleston Fire Department members (left to right) Matt Mong, Dewayne Brooks and Mike Burton line up for lunch served by United Way volunteer Becky Park on Wednesday, the eighth annual United Way "Day of Caring." As part of the event, volunteers held a cookout for first responders outside the United Way of Central West Virginia headquarters in Charleston. Other volunteers took part in community-service projects throughout the area.
