Water advisories: Sept. 24, 2013

* CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 400 customers along Thorofare Road in the Clendenin area following a water main break.* McDowell County Public Service District has issued a boil-water advisory for customers in the Newhall and Cucumber areas following a water main break.
Customers in those areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.* West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for approximately 75 customers in Huntington on Spring Valley Circle, Grant Boulevard, Upper Franklin Street and Locust Street. The advisory was issued on Sept. 20, following a water main break.
