Greenbrier resort launches third 'Dream Tree' for kids
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS -- The Greenbrier resort has launched its third-annual "Create a Dream Tree for Kids" holiday gift drive, which raised more than $2 million over the last two years for children in need.
Greenbrier guests are encouraged to purchase an item for the "Dream Tree" from Fizzy's Land of Oz at The Greenbrier or give a monetary donation. The resort's retail team estimates that it will purchase more than 40,000 toys for distribution during this year's drive.
"The Dream Tree project has been such an amazing success over the past two years, generating millions of dollars in gifts for underprivileged children throughout our area and around the country," said Greenbrier owner Jim Justice. "And I am confident that, with the help of our generous guests at The Greenbrier, we will go above and beyond once again this year."
All donations must be received by Dec. 8 and all are tax-deductible. For more information on the Greenbrier Resort, visit www.greenbrier.com.
