Morgantown's Waterfront Place Hotel marks 10 years
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- The Waterfront Place Hotel on Wednesday marks 10 years of serving guests along the banks of the Monongahela River in Morgantown.
The hotel is welcoming back past and present clients, vendors and guests for a cocktail reception to celebrate its anniversary in its Platinum Grand Ballroom.
The $50 million development project broke ground Aug. 1, 2001, and opened in the summer of 2003. The facility includes a 10,000-square-foot conference center, 205 guestrooms and six floors of luxury condominiums.
The independent hotel is owned by the Milan Puskar Revocable Trust and managed through Real Hospitality Group of Ocean City, Md.
