ELKINS, W.Va. -- Two more children have died from burns suffered during an early-morning house fire on Monday.Elkins Fire Chief Tom Meader said Tuesday afternoon that a 2-year-old who succumbed to injuries at the West Penn Burn Center on Tuesday was the twin of another child who died there Monday.
On Tuesday evening, the state Fire Marshal's Office announced that an 11-year-old child had also died of injuries from the fire.Authorities say a 4-year-old died at the scene on Monday, and four other people were injured. The state Fire Marshal's Office and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating the cause of the blaze.
