State panel to hold ethics training in Moorefield
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Ethics Commission is offering a free training session on the state's ethics law this week in Moorefield.
The one-hour session is scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Hardy County Division of Highways headquarters.
The commission says training topics include the prohibition against the use of public office for private gain and limitations on compensation and expenses.
The session is open to state and local public employees, government lawyers, media and the general public.
