Two arrested in Sissonville on outstanding warrants

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Federal and local authorities arrested a Sissonville couple on Wednesday on outstanding drug and other charges.Kanawha County sheriff's deputies and U.S. Marshals went to a house on Shady Ridge Road near Sissonville on Wednesday looking for Jonathan Joseph Riccio, 35, of Sissonville, sheriff's Cpl. Brian Humphreys said. Riccio was wanted on an outstanding warrant for conspiracy, operating a clandestine lab and two counts of exposing a minor to methamphetamine.Alisha Amber Fisher, 24, of Sissonville, answered the door, but denied Riccio was at the house, Humphreys said. He said officers knew Fisher was in a relationship with Riccio and had an outstanding warrant on several misdemeanor charges.Officers detained Fisher and found Riccio in a bedroom, Humphreys said, as well as drug paraphernalia, a rifle and ammunition. Humphreys said Riccio is a convicted felon and is prohibited from having a firearm.
Riccio was arrested on the outstanding warrant and also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was in the South Central Regional Jail on Thursday with bond set at $5,000.Fisher was arrested for failing to show up for previous court dates and was taken to the South Central Regional Jail. She was free on bond Thursday.
