Cross Lanes convenience store robbed

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Kanawha County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who robbed a Cross Lanes convenience store at gunpoint late Monday.

Cpl. Brian Humphreys of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department said a man walked into the 7-Eleven store on Big Tyler Road at about 9:40 p.m., pulled a gun and demanded money. He then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Deputies are looking for a black male who was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, black shoes and a ski mask.
