Four arrested on meth charges in Nicholas County
SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. -- Four people were arrested Monday night on meth-related charges in Nicholas County, according to the county sheriff's office.
James Preston McCune, 32, and Kimberley Marie Phillips, 26, both of Maysel; and Della Gay Legg, 36, and Tasha Renae Neal, 29, both of Clay, were arrested for attempting to operate a clandestine meth lab and conspiracy to operate a clandestine meth lab after being pulled over at the intersection of Glen Oaks Drive and Peach Orchard Road north of Summersville.
During a search of the vehicle prompted by a police dog, "numerous items" used for making methamphetamine were found, according to a news release. The sheriff's office would not release details of the items.
McCune, Phillips, Legg and Neal were taken to Central Regional Jail to await arraignment.
