One injured in train/dump truck collision in Charleston
A wrecker tows a Charleston city truck after it was struck by a train on the nearby tracks Wednesday morning.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- One person was taken to the hospital after a train hit a dump truck in Charleston. A Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatcher said officials from CSX Transportation System called the accident in around 7:30 a.m.The collision occurred just east of the Southside Bridge. Charleston police are investigating.
