Washington named Pleasant Valley Hospital CEO
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant has a new chief executive officer.
Glen A. Washington has served as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Cabell Huntington Hospital since 2007.
The hospitals announced Washington's appointment Wednesday.
A partnership agreement between the hospitals became effective earlier this month. The agreement called for the naming of a full-time CEO at nonprofit Pleasant Valley Hospital.
The 201-bed Pleasant Valley Hospital provides hospital, nursing home and rehabilitation services.
Cabell Huntington has 303 beds and cares for patients from more than 29 counties in West Virginia, eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. It is affiliated with Marshall University's schools of medicine and nursing.
