This car with Michigan plates carrying three people flipped over the guardrail on I-77 in Charleston Friday afternoon.
Although only minor injuries were reported, the car's occupants were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Three people avoided serious injury when their car veered off the southbound lanes of Interstate 77 and flipped over a guardrail Friday.The car landed down an embankment on the driver's side near the Belle exit ramp of I-77 South just before 1:30 p.m. Several trees blocked the car from rolling into the Kanawha River. The car had a Michigan license plate.The male driver and one female passenger got out of the car to call for help. Firefighters cut a second woman from the back seat and she walked away from the wreckage. Paramedics took the three people to CAMC General Hospital as a precaution. Kanawha County sheriff's deputies are investigating the incident.
