Boil-water advisory for Riverside, Paint Creek and Pratt

Late Thursday night, West Virginia American Water issued a boil-water advisory for about 500 residents in Riverside, Paint Creek and Pratt, because "extensive flushing in the area" caused a water storage tank to drain.The specific areas include the community of Riverside along Route 60, the town of Pratt and Crown Hill, Paint Creek Road, Holly Grove Road, Lower Patch Road, Middle Patch Road, Upper Patch Road, Livingston Road and Standard Road.Affected customers should boil their water before consumption until further notice.
