Kanawha State Forest Foundation and Mary Ingles Trail Blazers will sponsor the 2014 Shirley Schwiezer Winter Walk at 2 p.m. Saturday in Kanawha State Forest. Join Doug Wood for an Ecology Walk in the Woods: "Comparing Kanawha State Forest with a Surface Coal Mine." Meet at the swimming pool area. Hot drinks, hot soup and snacks will be available.
