Princeton suicide victim had been probed for child porn
PRINCETON, W.Va. -- A man who killed himself inside Princeton City Hall on Friday had been investigated for possession of child pornography, police said.
Around 12:20 p.m., the unidentified 61-year-old man walked into the Princeton Municipal Building and shot himself with a handgun, said Princeton Police Chief J.W. Howell.
The West Virginia Crimes Against Children Task Force had searched the man's home and seized evidence earlier Friday, Howell said.
Howell would not release the man's name. Several people saw the shooting and were shaken up, he said.
