Boil water advisories: Friday, March 7, 2014

-- West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for about 250 customers in the Northgate and Rutledge Road areas. The affected streets include Scenic Drive, Mayflower Drive, Deitrick Blvd, Association Drive, Tracy Way, Twilight Drive, Heath Street, High Street, Rutledge Road, Valley Grove, Lacy Hollow, Martin Hollow and Hunter Road. The advisory was issued after a water main break.-- West Virginia American Water has also issued a boil-water advisory for about 50 customers in Kanawha City. The affected area includes the 4500 to 5100 blocks of Noyes Avenue, Staunton Avenue and Virginia Avenue, and 45th Street through 51st Street from Noyes Avenue to Virginia Avenue. The advisory follows a water main break.Customers in those areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice. -- West Virginia American Water has lifted the boil-water advisory for approximately 400 customers on Bowen Ridge, Green Valley Road, Prices Creek, Pleasant View and Camp Branch Road in the Salt Rock area.
