With the May 13 primary just weeks away, West Virginians have one more day to register for that hotly anticipated contest.Tuesday is the final day to register in person at a county clerk's office, mail in voter registration forms, change political parties or register after moving to a new county.
This primary will be different from previous elections because unaffiliated voters will be able to cast Democratic ballots for the first time.A range of state offices from governor to Supreme Court justice are up for grabs, but most of the attention is on the Democratic presidential contest. Both Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have made West Virginia a focus, visiting the state and opening campaign offices here.
