Leading by just four points after three quarters, Ravenswood scored two touchdowns in the fourth to seal a 42-24 victory at Roane County in high school football Friday night.With the Red Devils (2-0) on top 28-24, Rhys Jelich broke loose for a 44-yard TD run, and Dylan Radabaugh caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from Heath Burgess to complete the scoring.Jelich, who also scored on a 9-yard run, led the Ravenswood attack with 249 yards rushing on 22 attempts. The Red Devils' Devon Crews scored on runs of 25 and 8 yards and totaled 83 yards on 15 carries.Roane County's Cody May scored twice on kickoff returns of 95 and 82 yards, and John Ash rushed 20 times for 100 yards. Hunter Bradley carried 15 times for 74 yards and completed a 38-yard touchdown pass to J.C. Nichols.Roane fell to 1-2. POINT PLEASANT 14, LEWIS COUNTY 13: On fourth down and 11 seconds left in the game, Tylan Campbell caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Aden Yates, leading Point Pleasant to victory in Weston. Colin Peal kicked the decisive extra point.
Lewis County (1-2) had taken a 13-7 lead in the fourth quarter on field goals of 21 and 30 yards by Chris Sintalucia.But Point Pleasant took possession at its 35-yard line and drove for the winning score.
The Black Knights (3-0) led 7-0 at halftime on Campbell's 1-yard run, and Lewis County tied it in the third quarter on Branden Montgomery's 1-yard run.Teran Barnitz led Lewis County's ground game with 85 yards on 14 carries, and Campbell added 59 on 11 attempts. Yates passed for 120 yards. TUG VALLEY 34, MOUNT VIEW 28: Mikey Newsome completed 6-of-17 passes for 114 yards and three touchdowns as Tug Valley earned a home win.
Newsome connected twice with Corey Dillon and once with Aaron Muncy, who had four catches for 93 yards for the Panthers (2-1). Dillon also recovered a fumble in the end zone for a TD.Teddy Hazzard went 11-for-22 for 135 yards for Mount View (0-3), connecting twice with Maurice Brown, who had four receptions for 46 yards. Brown also had a 40-yard run for a touchdown.
| TOLSIA 12, FAIRLAND 9: Dawson Presley scored on a 1-yard run with 54 seconds left in the game as the host Rebels snapped an 18-game losing streak.Presley scored earlier in the night on a 40-yard TD in the first quarter to put the Rebels (1-2) on the board first. Fairland answered in the third quarter with a safety after a Tolsia fumble into the end zone, followed by a 40-yard touchdown reception by Kyle Sowards to put the Dragons (2-1) up 9-6.The Rebels only allowed 81 yards of offense, but generated 181 yards against Fairland.
