WVU remains in Top 25 after second lopsided loss

West Virginia's freefall down the national rankings continued Sunday after the Mountaineers' second straight lopsided loss.WVU, fifth in The Associated Press poll two weeks ago  and 17th last week, is No. 25 this week following a 55-14 loss to Kansas State Saturday night. The Mountaineers are No. 22 in the USA Today coaches poll.
Alabama has run its streak of weeks at No. 1 in the AP poll to eight, the longest stay atop the rankings by the Crimson Tide.Oregon is No. 2 for the fifth consecutive week and is followed by Florida, Kansas State, Notre Dame and LSU.
