Trey Dawson also had 21 points for the Redskins (1-0) while Ace Estep chipped in 15. Wade Martin had 23 for the Big Blacks (0-2) and Dillon McCarty added 12.
SUMMERS 72, SHADY 67: Ta-Ron Ayers netted 32 points for Summers County in the home win. T.J. Smith added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Bobcats (2-0). Chase Connor had 26 for Shady Spring (0-2).
