HURRICANE, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Soccer Association will be hosting a U.S. Soccer "E" license coaching course Feb. 1-3 in the Hurricane area for all interested soccer coaches.The 18-hour course will cover such topics as methodology, how to put together a training session, teaching progression, team management and FIFA Laws of the Game.Also, it covers the principles of coaching and is designed to assist experienced coaches of under-10, under-12 and under-14 players. WVU SPORTS: The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) are implementing a reseating project for the WVU Coliseum that will take place prior to the start of the 2013-14 men's basketball season.The reseating project will provide fairness and equity in the allocation of men's basketball season tickets.Current MAC members and current or retired WVU faculty and staff who request season tickets, will receive the benefit of personally selecting available seats for the 2013-14 season. LOCAL GOLF: The West Virginia Golf Association has announced the schedule for the 2013 Wendy's Amateur Tour.The tour will begin on April 8 at the Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport and will include stops at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane on April 22 and Big Bend Golf Club in Tornado on May 4.It will finish at The Resort at Glade Springs on Sept. 10.nn
