Prep roundup: Sirianni's 39 points lead Nitro past St. Albans 66-62
Angelo Sirianni scored 39 points and Trevon Taylor added 13 to help lift visiting Nitro to a 66-62 boys basketball win over rival St. Albans on Tuesday.Nitro improved to 7-6.For the Red Dragons (4-8), Nathan McNeil finished with 28 points while Thaddeus Moss scored 14.
GW 60, RIVERSIDE 57: Luke Eddy erupted for 29 points as Class AAA No. 10 George Washington squeaked out a win over Riverside. Cameron Hoston added 14 points for the Patriots (10-3). For the Warriors (6-9), Marcus Reed scored 20 points and Nick Light had 16.
HOOVER 43, CHAPMANVILLE 42: Samuel Schoolcraft hit a shot from the baseline to put the Huskies (8-4) ahead with about 30 seconds to play, then Cody Morris blocked Chapmanville's final shot attempt to complete Hoover's comeback from a double-digit halftime deficit. Morris finished with 12 points and six blocks to lead the Huskies, while Mackenzie Martin led Chapmanville (8-5) with 18 points.
HURRICANE 84, SPRING VALLEY 77: Spring Valley outscored Hurricane 27-15 in the final quarter, but it wasn't enough as the Redskins held on for the home win. Hurricane (10-4) was paced by Trey Dawson with 24 points, Rasaan Harris with 23 and Henry Sorsaia with 12. Josh Steele netted 22 for the Timberwolves (3-9) while Greg Herbert had 21 and Jacob Kilgore scored 20.
WOODROW 67, CAPITAL 43: Donte Nabors tallied 18 points and Brent Osborne chipped in 13 as Woodrow Wilson cruised to a road win. Carrington Morris led Capital (6-9) with 22 points.
POCA 49, CLAY 31: Noah Frampton posted 13 points as Class AA No. 2 Poca downed host Clay County. Adam Sigman chipped in 12 points for the Dots (12-1) while Jacob Payne had 10. Chris Cole led the Panthers (7-6) with nine points.
BUFFALO 73, HANNAN 53: Levi Jordan tossed in 29 points to lead the host Bison to the win. Also for Buffalo (12-1), Laythen Good had 13 points and Isaiah Robinson 11. For the Wildcats (2-12), Tyler Burns scored 18 points and Paul Holley 11.
PRINCETON 65, RIPLEY 55: Hunter Walters exploded for 20 points as Class AAA No. 9 Princeton secured a road win over Ripley. Ryan Meadows also contributed 13 points for the Tigers (11-2). Casey Smith netted 25 points for the Vikings while Kade Harrison chipped in 15.
SCOTT 56, LINCOLN COUNTY 53: Matt Dolan scored 17 points as Class AA No. 6 Scott won at home. Logan Webb added 12 points for the Skyhawks (10-4). T.J. Arbaugh had a game-high 31 points for Lincoln County.

WAHAMA 61, WATERFORD 54: Austin Jordan paced visiting Wahama (5-8) with 19 points while Dakota Sisk added 15. Wyatt Porter netted 23 for Waterford (Ohio).
RAVENSWOOD 48, DODDRIDGE 40: Jake Martin scored 29 points as Ravenswood won on the road. Daniel Plaugher and Ashton Hinzman had nine points each for Doddridge County.
GRACE 56, CALVARY 52: Jace Heller and Trent Spears scored 21 points apiece, but it was not enough for Calvary Baptist (10-6) to win on the road. Kris Adkins scored 15 and Nathan Welch had 13 for Grace Christian (2-9).
TOLSIA 63, SISSONVILLE 45: Tolsia led by just a single point at halftime but clamped down on defense in the second half to beat visiting Sissonville. Savannah Winnett scored a game-high 24 points to go with 13 rebounds for the Rebels (10-3) while Krista Maynard tallied 14 points and 13 rebounds. Sissonville was led by 19 points from Karli Pinkerton.
BUFFALO 65, MIDLAND TRAIL 48: Four Buffalo players scored in double figures as the Bison downed Midland Trail. Buffalo (9-4) was led by Chelsey Parkins (21 points), Paige Roush (16) and Olivia Dunn and Tiffani Baily (both with 11). Emily Carte had a team-high 17 points for Midland Trail.
RAVENSWOOD 72, ROANE 31: Hailey Miller finished with 19 points and went 11 of 12 from the foul line to lead Ravenswood to the win against visiting Roane County. For the Raiders, Cassidy Taylor scored 13 points.
PRINCETON 59, SUMMERS 46: Mckenzie Akers poured in 22 points as Class AAA No. 5 Princeton earned a road win. Marissa Mullins contributed 13 points for the Tigers (11-2). Avery Pivont had 22 points for Class AA No. 4 Summers County (11-3).
CHAPMANVILLE 52, SHERMAN 22: Chapmanville (8-4) led by nine points at halftime and used a 20-point third quarter to pull away from visiting Sherman. Kristen Desrocher led the Tigers with 24 points. Bethan Kinder led Sherman (6-8) with six points.
