Aaron Lewis clouted the winning two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning of the second game Saturday afternoon as host Buffalo swept a prep baseball doubleheader from Williamstown 5-2, 4-3.Bradley Harris hit a two-run double in the second game for the Bison (5-8), and Lewis picked up the win in relief of starter Blaik Caplinger in a combined four-hitter.In the opener, Beau Whittington and Lewis held the Yellowjackets (11-8) to just five hits. Evan Eich went 5 for 5 for the Wildcats (13-4) while Solomon Shamblin and Tyler Barton added three hits each. Jordan Meadows went 2 for 3 for Shady Spring.WAYNE SWEEPS: Kasey Endicott and Allie Maynard struck back-to-back homers in the second game as host Wayne boarded a 9-1, 10-4 doubleheader sweep of Wahama. Jessie Rowe fired a four-hitter with six strikeouts in the opener for the Pioneers (18-4).WAHAMA SWEEPS: Hunter Bradley (one-hitter, six strikeouts) and Dakota Sisk (two-hitter, eight Ks) donated strong five-inning pitching efforts as host Wahama earned a 10-0, 11-0 doubleheader sweep of Miller, Ohio (5-8).
