Area roundup: WVC's Blizzard gets D2 administrative post

West Virginia Conference commissioner Barry Blizzard will become the Division II College Commissioner's Association administrative coordinator when his tenure with the WVC ends this summer.Steve Murray, president of the D2CCA and commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, announced that Blizzard will replace Nancy Mitchell on July 1, after the WVC ceases operations on June 30.In addition to his work with the D2CCA, Blizzard will work with Atlanta-based Collegiate Consulting to conduct feasibility studies and operational reviews for Division II athletic programs.

    Hostetler and Luck will help youth football leagues in Follansbee and North Parkersburg promote making the game better and safer. The program aims to advance the youth football experience by providing coaching education and teaching resources that benefit players, parents and coaches.
