WVC HONORS: Shepherd's Michael Lott was named the West Virginia Conference baseball player of the week.The senior outfielder from Woodbridge, Va., led the Rams to three wins on the week, batting a solid .608. His 14 hits included eight that went for extra bases - six doubles, a triple and a homerun. Lott had nine RBIs and scored eight runs and added four stolen bases to his school-record-setting 26 for the season. Fairmont State sophomore Jamie Allard was named WVC pitcher of the week after leading the Falcons to a victory over Seton Hall to clinch a spot in the WVC tournament.
