Roundup: Goldcamp wins state Women's Senior Amateur

Parkersburg's Sue Goldcamp won her first West Virginia Women's Senior Amateur championship Wednesday at the Clarksburg Country Club.Goldcamp shot a final-round score of 5-over-par 75 to finish at 10-over-par 150. She finished three strokes ahead of 11-time champion Caroline Ramsey of Bridgeport,There was a three-way tie for third place between Joyce Quillen, Bobbie Karr and Shelly Hyde.

    Wheeling's Cole Hand is tied for 33rd after shooting a 3-under-par 73 and is seven strokes off the leader, Patrick Martin from Birmingham, Ala.Charleston's Aaron Persily concluded his first round with a 6-over-par 76.Huntington's Josef Dransfeld and Andy Michael turned in scores of 77 and 90, respectively.
