CITY SWIM MEET: Cross Lanes and South Hills are separated by just 66 points heading into today's finals of the Greater Kanawha Valley Summer Swimming Championships at the University of Charleston Natatorium.South Hills (842) won the boys 12-and-under, boys 10-and-under and girls 10-and-under 200-yard freestyle relays on Friday. Sleepy Hollow earned a first-place finish in the girls 10-and-under division. Cross Lanes (908) only managed a pair of second-place finishes Friday.The final sessions begin this at 9:15 a.m. today.nn

SWIMMING SIGNING: The Wheeling Jesuit swim program has signed 13 new student-athletes including George Washington and HYCAT standout Anna Davis.Davis led the Patriots to back-to-back state championships. During the run, Davis swam on two state-record-setting relay teams and finished third in the 100 freestyle and second in the 50 freestyle. As a member of the HYCAT team, she advanced to the YMCA Nationals last season.nn
