Report: WVU, Penn State eye home-and-home set


CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia appears close to rekindling one of its most heated rivalries.CBSSports.com reported Thursday that the Mountaineers and Penn State are close to finalizing a home-and-home football series that would start in or after the 2020 season.Seperated by less than 200 miles, the two schools first played in 1904 and met every year from 1947-1992. The Nittany Lions lead the all-time series 48-9-2. The schools last played in the 1992 season.
