Roundup: WVU Tech men play at SC Community Center Saturday

WVU Tech looks to break a seven-game men's basketball losing streak in some familiar surroundings for many of its players.

The Golden Bears play at the South Charleston Community Center at 7 p.m. Saturday against Bluefield (Va.).

Tech (8-8) features four former South Charleston High School players on its roster - Ra'Shaud Kincaid, Jaren Marino, Hunter Moles and Eddie Gordon.

The Golden Bears have already lost to the Rams (6-2) once this season by a 97-62 count on Dec. 7 in Bluefield.

In that game, Tech junior forward Jauries Thomas had 22 points and six rebounds and Marino added 11 points and five boards.

Tech's last game was a 108-52 loss at Lindsey Wilson on Dec. 20.

Following Saturday's contest, the Bears face Lindenwood-Bellville on Jan. 10 at the Baisi Athletic Center in Montgomery. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
