Speakeasy Singles hosts a “Singles Patriotic Dance” Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m. at West Virginia State University in the Wilson Student Union with DJ Tommy Spurlock. Admission is $10 for three hours of socializing, appetizers and dancing. Food included with admission and drinks are available for $1. No alcohol permitted. Singles are invited to come to the dance which will feature red, white and blue decor to mark the Fourth of July. Harpist at Town Center

Internationally-acclaimed Columbian harpist Hildo Ariel will perform in solo shows from noon to 4 p.m. July 12 at the Town Center mall’s center court. The concerts are free.

Gospel in Milton

Adam Crabb, The Bowling Family and Terah Crabb Penhollow will deliver award-winning gospel music when they come to the Milton Performing Arts Center in Milton for an evening of music starting at 6 p.m. on July 21.
