Coin club meeting

Kanawha Valley Coin Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the South Charleston Library. For information, call 304-562-6917 or 304-727-4062.

Republican women

Kanawha County Republican Women’s Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Charleston Civic Center. A buffet luncheon will be available for $11. Steve Harrison will speak. Parking is free.

Democratic committee

The Kanawha County Democratic Executive Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the courtroom of Judge Charlie King, on the fourth floor of the Judicial Annex. This will be the final meeting of the committee until after the May 13 primary election. It will also be a meet-the-candidate night.

Malden PSD

Malden Public Service District board of commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the district office in the administrative building of the treatment facility.

Spring concert/luncheon

The next Kanawha Forum spring concert will take place from 12:05 to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kanawha United Presbyterian Church, 1009 Virginia St. E. Performing will be Terra Firma Ensemble featuring David Porter, Jim Lange, Ryan Kennedy, Lisa Peery, Scott Milam and John Ingrahm. There is no admission charge for the concert. A luncheon will follow at $10 per person, prepaid reservation required. The menu includes Southwestern corn and black bean salad, spring onions soup, corn bread and apple pie.
