FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Fairmont police say an 11-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot.
Police Chief Kelley Moran said the shooting was reported at a residence at 7:52 p.m. Wednesday.
Moran says another person was involved in the shooting. He declined to provide further details, citing what he called “the sensitive nature of the investigation.”
Moran says the boy was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. The boy’s name isn’t being released.
