Coonskin hike

Charleston Montessori School will sponsor the next Life’s a Hike community hike at 10:30 a.m. Saturday on the Alice Knight Trail at Coonskin Park. The trail has some steep sections; hiking boots are recommended. There is a waterfall along the trail. Capitol Woman’s Club

The Capitol Woman’s Club will meet Tuesday with dinner being served at 5:30 p.m. at the Woman’s Club of Charleston Clubhouse, Virginia Street East. April is Conservation Month; the program will be on everyday products made from recycled items.
