Charleston Gay Men’s Chorale

The Charleston Gay Men’s Chorale is welcoming new tenor, baritone and bass voices as members. Rehearsals take place from 7 to 9 p.m. each Monday at Kanawha United Presbyterian Church, 1009 Virginia St. E. Gay men who enjoy singing are invited to attend rehearsals and later decide if they wish to audition. For more information, contact director Billy Burdette at 304-380-5779.

Coin club

Charleston Coin Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kanawha City Community Center, 3511 Venable Ave. A coin auction will be held. Call 304-727-4062 for information.

Meet the candidates

The Putnam County Democratic Women will hold a “Come Meet Your Candidates” Luncheon at noon on Saturday at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club, Hurricane. The cost is $12 per person. Door prizes are requested. Putnam candidate forum

The Putnam County Chamber is hosting a candidate forum from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 22 at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club. Candidates for all contested State Legislature and Putnam County offices have been invited to address the public and respond to questions taken from the audience attending the forum. Reservations are requested and seating is limited. There is a $20 charge for lunch.
