allegedly raped girl
A Wirt County man and his two sons were arrested after allegedly raping another young family member multiple times.
State Police arrested Randy Lane Hammer, 61, Thomas Rex Hammer, 23, and Paul Randolph Hammer, 25, all of Elizabeth on Tuesday. Randy Hammer is the father of Thomas and Paul Hammer as well as the victim.
Randy Hammer allegedly sexually assaulted the girl, who was below the age of 12 at the time, in several locations on his Munday Road property in August 2013 and as early as June 2004, according to a criminal complaint filed in Wirt Magistrate Court.
Paul Hammer is accused of sexually assaulting the girl at least twice between January 2008 and December 2009 at home on Brohard Road, the complaint said.
Thomas Hammer allegedly sexually assaulted the girl in December 2013 in a camper trailer on the family property on Munday Road, troopers said.
Randy Hammer has been charged with three counts of first-degree sexual assault, one count of third-degree sexual assault, two counts of sexual abuse by a parent and two counts of incest.
Paul Hammer was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and incest. Thomas Hammer was charged with first-degree sexual assault, third-degree sexual assault and incest.
All are being held at North Central Regional Jail. Randy Hammer’s bond was set at $160,000 while his sons were being held on $75,000 each.
