Follow the “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” to Huntington Thursday for the Marshall Artists Series presentation of the Broadway musical “American Idiot,” based on Green Day’s Grammy-winning album of the same name. The Tony-winning production follows three suburban youths who seek true meaning in their lives in a post-9/11 world. The musical is mostly sung-through, meaning audiences will hear little dialogue between songs that include the aforementioned “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” “Holiday” and the title track. The show begins at 8 p.m. at the Keith Albee Performing Arts Center, 925 4th Ave. Tickets are $51.15, $56.50 and $65 available through Ticketmaster or by calling 304-696-6656.
