Glenn L. Ledbetter, 65, of Charleston, passed away April 22, 2014, after a short, but courageous, battle with lung cancer.
Glenn was a 1966 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and a former Charleston firefighter. He was the owner of Charleston Trophy and Engraving and an avid member of the FOE 519.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Barbara Ledbetter, and younger brother, Kirby Ledbetter. Glenn is survived by his wife, Jeannie Ledbetter of Charleston; daughter and son-in-law, Tracie and Scott Metheny of Hurricane; son, Joshua Ledbetter of Charleston; brother, Larry Ledbetter and wife, Jan, of Hurricane; and grandchildren, Matthew and Leah Metheny and Gunnar and Blake Ledbetter.
Funeral service will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Andy Tuel officiating. Viewing will begin two hours prior to the funeral service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
