W.Va. State baseball team takes two from Glenville

GLENVILLE, W.Va. — The West Virginia State University baseball team completed a four-game series sweep of Mountain East Conference rival Glenville State on Sunday, defeating the Pioneers 6-3 and 9-8. The Pioneers (7-38, 6-31 MEC) have lost nine consecutive games.

The Yellow Jackets (25-15, 21-13) wrap up their inaugural regular season in the MEC this weekend when they face rival University of Charleston for a four-game set beginning with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Calvin L. Bailey Field.
