Celebrate Recovery (www.celebraterecovery.com) is a 12-step recovery program for life’s hurts, habits and hangups that meets at River Ridge Church, 2090 Greenbrier St. (behind Capitol Flea Market).
The large group will meet at 7 p.m. every Monday, even on holidays. A small group will meet after the large group at 8 p.m. Childcare is provided for children who are potty trained, up to 12 years old.

Gay Men’s Chorale
The Charleston Gay Men’s Chorale is always welcoming new tenor, baritone and bass voices. Rehearsals take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays at Kanawha United Presbyterian Church, 1009 Virginia St. E.
Gay men who enjoy singing are invited to drop by rehearsals and later decide if they wish to audition. The mission of the Charleston Gay Men’s Chorale is to present quality entertainment, educate our community, provide an opportunity for wholesome social interaction for our members and portray, through eclectic performances, a positive image that will honor and uplift the LGBT community and affirm the worth of all people.

A rummage sale/hot dog sale to benefit the “Because He Lives: Relay For Life of Sissonville team will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 3. Hot dogs will go on sale at 10 a.m.
The sale will be held at Fisher Chapel United Methodist church, located right off of Route 21 in Sissonville, approximately 2/10 of a mile on Middle Fork Road, the church is on the right.
All proceeds will go to American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sissonville.
