SOUTH CHARLESTON --
Kanawha sheriff’s deputies arrested a St. Albans man after allegedly finding a methephetamine lab on Monday.
Stephen Gregory Skaggs, 27, was charged with operating a clandestine lab, according to a news release issued by Kanawha County Sheriff’s Cpl. Brian Humphreys.
Deputies uncovered a meth lab that Skaggs allegedly operated in a house on Fairview Acres, near South Charleston. Deputies also found ingredients used in a “shake and bake” meth lab, according to the release. Skaggs was being held Monday in South Central Regional Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bail.
