Moments in Time

Lee Street Triangle — As most people are aware, the Lee Street Triangle is the southwest corner of the old State Capitol grounds. I love this photo of the Triangle from the mid-’50s because of the great cars. They were most likely parked there waiting for the ladies to finish their shift at the C&P Telephone Co. just across the street. During this era, all women wore dresses, and most older men still wore hats. Unfortunately, our generation would change all that.
