St. Albans yard sale
St. Albans will hold a citywide yard sale Saturday, starting at 7 a.m. Nearly 50 households have registered, according to the St. Albans Chamber of Commerce. A yard sale map is available for free at the chamber office, 412 Sixth Ave., or online at the chamber’s Facebook page. Blount yard sale

Preceptor Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Canaan United Methodist Church, 401 Roane St. Charlotte Bowling will conduct the business meeting. A covered-dish dinner will be served. The Torchbearer and Master Degree will be given and installation of officers for the 2014-15 year will be held. A revealing of Secret Sisters will also be held.
St. Albans coin club
The St. Albans Coin Club will hold their monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the basement of the St. Albans Municipal Building, 1499 MacCorkle Ave. For information, call 304-727-4062.
The Region III Workforce Investment Board of Kanawha County will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the conference room at Goodwill Industries of Kanawha Valley, 209 Virginia St. W. The agenda is available for review in the WIB office.
The Pilot Club of Greater Kanawha Valley will have a dinner/meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fifth Quarter restaurant. President Kelly George will preside. A “Share Pilot” will be presented. Each member is asked to bring a prospective member. The Make-A-Wish Foundation winner will be introduced and honored with a party. George Washington High School sophomore Mychala Schultz will share her experiences as a scholar at Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge. Outstanding Pilot of the Year will be elected at this meeting and revealed at the June annual installation dinner meeting.
The Retired Steelworkers of Local 5668, SOAR, will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the local union hall, below Ravenswood. Food will be potluck. Bingo will be played. All retirees and spouses are welcome.
