Camp fund pushes toward goal; still time to give

Memorial Day weekend is in front of us. Summer is almost here. That means summer camp can’t be far behind.

The Gazette Charities Send-a-Child-to-Camp Fund is closing in on its goal. If you are considering a donation to help the fund send kids to camp this season, don’t delay — now is the time.

The more the fund raises, the less chance there is that a child will be left out of the fun this summer. To donate, look for the donation coupon in today’s paper or go to and click on the camp fund logo.
