Emil Francis Bryant, 73, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away May 25, 2014. Born May 16, 1941, he grew up in Ridgeview, West Virginia, son of Burl Bryant and Jeanette Kinder. He married Neva Breashears on July 17, 1984, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
While serving in the Navy, he was stationed on the USS Intrepid during the Vietnam War. He loved planes and flying, and after his discharge from the Navy he spent his entire career as a corporate pilot.
Emil is survived by his wife, Neva; three sons and their wives, Tom and Cynthia, David and Beverly and Steven; and seven grandchildren, Ashlee, Justin, Shelby, Evie, Jacob, Megan and Alex.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Kerrville.
Service will be held Thursday, May 29, at 10:30 a.m. at CityWest Church in Ingram, Texas. Burial services will be in Oklahoma at Drake Stand Cemetery, Sallisaw.
Emil was a devoted husband and father, and will be greatly missed.
