WVU Fashion Show goes for the tie

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The annual WVU Classic Fashion Show will celebrate its 32nd year with the theme “Beauties and Bow Ties,” in honor of returning President Gordon Gee and his trademark neckwear.

The show — set for Thursday at the Charleston Civic Center — will feature models of all ages and sizes showcasing fashions from area retailers.

Proceeds from the show will fund athletic scholarships. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the show begins at noon, and a plated lunch will be served. Tickets cost $45 and can be purchased by calling Margaret Ann Simpson at 304-344-2100.
