Beulah Lawhorn

Beulah Bernice Lawhorn, 94, of Dunbar, and formerly of Belle, passed away May 31, 2014, at the Dunbar Center of Genesis Health Care.

She was a homemaker and a member of Judson Baptist Church in Belle.

Preceding her in death were her first husband, Gay Wilford Daugherty; second husband, Frank Lawhorn; daughter, Bernice Daugherty; and parents, Clayton and Dovie Walker Harper.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy D. and Lonnie Martin of Dunbar; stepsons, Bill, Barry and Jerry Lawhorn; sister, Mary Stewart of Charleston; grandson and his wife, Lonnie Glen Jr. and Jessie Martin; and great-grandson, Gavin Glen Martin.

Funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday, June 3, at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle, with Pastor Charles Bolen officiating.

Interment will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time at the funeral home on Tuesday.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Dunbar Center of Genesis Heath Care, her doctors and hospice care workers who showed Beulah kindness and such compassionate care.
