One man was arrested in Nicholas County Tuesday, just 12 hours after police say he killed another man in a fight. Two others have been arrested as accessories to the crime.
James Love, 26, was charged in the death of James Lewis Frame, 39. According to the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department, the two were involved in a fight around midnight on Powells Creek Road in Birch River. Deputies found Frame unresponsive at the scene, and he was transported to Summersville Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Love fled the scene, but was apprehended by law enforcement just before noon on Tuesday. Michelle Stull, 30, of Summersville and Michael Wood, 24, of Birch River were also arrested in connection with the crime. All three were arraigned Tuesday and transported to the Central Regional Jail.
