The 16th annual Lincoln County Bluegrass and Gospel Festival kicks off at noon Saturday at the Mud River Dam Recreation Area near Hamlin. The free event features bluegrass music on Saturday and gospel on Sunday. Saturday’s bands are The Boxcars, Don Rigsby & Midnight Call, Stacy Grubb with Clay Hess, Remington Ryde, Jim & Valerie Gabehart, The Grass Stains, The Bluegrass Gentleman and The Lincoln County Cloggers. Sunday’s are Gold City, Change of Heart, Jimmie McKnight, The Heritage Quartet, Steadfast and Road Less Traveled. The music runs noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
