Graffiti left on the bunk canvases of the troopship General Nelson M. Walker reflect the attitudes and events of a turbulent decade of American history.
In conjunction with the exhibit, there will be a special film presentation of “The Quiet American” on June 9 at 7 p.m. Set in early 1950s Vietnam, a young American becomes entangled in a dangerous love triangle when he falls for the beautiful mistress of a British journalist.
