FestivALL schedule: June 25, 2014

Noon, 2, 4 and 6 p.m.: BB Riverboats’ River Queen 1½-hour sightseeing cruises on the Kanawha River. Haddad River Front Park, 600 Kanawha Blvd. E. 5:30 to 8 p.m.: The sixth annual East End Main Street StreetWorks Art Auction and Celebration. Kyle Furniture Showroom, 1352 Hansford St. StreetWorks: Revolutions theme; 30 local artists install permanent revolving signs at five distinct locations throughout the East End business district. Each image will be auctioned off by Ted Brightwell. Local musical talent will perform. Information available at CharlestonEastEnd.com, tickets include beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres.

7:30 to 9:30 p.m.: FestivALL Dance Gala. Culture Center Theater. Tickets $20, available at Clay Center, Taylor Books, Charleston Ballet, River City Youth Ballet Ensemble. Features Savannah Lowery and Zachary Catazaro, soloists with New York City Ballet performing Balanchine Ballet: Pas de Deux from “Diamonds” and Balanchine Ballet: “Who Cares?” as well as Claire Von Enck, corps de ballet member, New York City Ballet. The Charleston Ballet and River City Youth Ballet Ensemble will offer additional classic, traditional and contemporary pieces.

Dawn ’til Dusk East End Garden Showcase: A showcase of over 30 urban gardens in the beautiful historic East End neighborhood district. Brochures available at Zegeer Hardware, Contemporary Galleries, Bluegrass Kitchen and any garden along the way (look for the blue yard signs). Includes guided tours and a special celebration. Haiku Hall at Bluegrass Kitchen: Guests can contribute to the Haiku Hall. Favorites will be shared online throughout the week.

“A Little Lunch Music” with Mark Scarpelli and guests: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Center Court, Charleston Town Center Mall.

FestivALL street performers and artists: Princess (Jude Binder), stilt walkers Chally Erb and Elizabeth White, magician Dewayne Hill, street performer Jill Roane, visual artist Ian Bode, flash mob dancers and others.

Art-for-ALL Juried Student Art Exhibition: Clay Center lobby during box office hours. A juried art exhibition for children grades pre-kindergarten through sixth in Boone, Clay, Fayette, Kanawha, Lincoln and Putnam counties.

Dizzy Doc’s Amazing Balloon Sculpture: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Center Court, Charleston Town Center Mall.
